Lunch in the Park @MIAParkBazaar

Earlier this month I was very excited when I heard the MIA Saturday Park bazaar was going to be back in action this October. Sadly though my visit to the first opening bazaar of the season was an utter disaster . With only a handful of vendors open that had practically nothing left on display I was left lurking around the park like one frustrated hungry preggy mama who’s food dreams had came crashing down!

After the first disastrous try I decided to give it a few weeks for the some of the seasoned vendors to settle in and today I went back again to scout the bazaar for some lunch. Thankfully the Bazaar was buzzing with tons of people and I was extremely happy with my all my edible findings.

Only after a few minutes of scanning around, a full blown asian meal is what happened. The bazaar had many asian vendors selling deliciousness in all forms and shapes and that’s exactly what my tummy was craving.

So what did I eat? Hot steamy Sui Mai’s, Satay, Chicken and potato pies, Pad Thai, spring rolls, crab cakes , Green Curry, Fried rice …. the list goes on… ( All dishes priced between 10 to 15 QAR each)

Alessandra’s Kitchen  – Sells fresh Italian Pasta, pizza’s, bread and all thing deliciously Italian.  She’ll be at bazaar next Saturday- 22nd Oct.

If you haven’t been to the park yet, I highly recommend it. Its a great place to hang out with friends and family on a Saturday, besides who wants to cook on a weekend right 😛 I also recommend taking a picnic sheet or chairs if you intend to stay for longer.

The MIA Saturday Bazaar is open every Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm until April 2017. The addition of 5 food trucks are to follow in the coming months. more information on –
