This one for all you carnivores and meat lovers out there.
1 kilo beef ribs
1/2 cup dark soy
1/2 cup light soy
1/4 cup honey
6 cloves of garlic smashed
1 inch of ginger sliced
2 large dried red chillies
1 star anise
1 table spoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
Mix the ingredients into a bowl and pour onto the ribs. Leave to marinade over night. I recommend 24 hours for best results. However if you are pressed for tim anything over an 2 hours would also do.
Heat a crock pot and drop in the ribs searing it on both sides. Then top all the extra marinade and a cup of water and leave to slow cook for 2 1/2 hours until the meat falls off its bone.
