Today’s post is a bit off the usual and one that involves a bit of work. I do promise you though it’s a lot of fun and the results will leave you wanting more!
The weekend starts in a few hours from now so why not start with a freshly baked banana bread? This is one my favorites and it’s a simple, easy and weekend snack. Now lets go Bananas!!!!
What you’ll need:
- 2-3 Ripe bananas, peeled and mashed
- 1 ½ Cup of all purpose flour
- 1/3 Cup melted butter
- ½ Cup Sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
Total No of ingredients – 10
Pre heat the oven to 350deg. F (175deg. Celsius)
Butter a 4 x 8 inch loaf pan
In a mixing bowl put in the mashed bananas and stir in the melted butter into it.
Mix in baking soda and salt.
Stir in the sugar, beaten egg and vanilla extract.
Mix in the flour and the raisins.
Once the all ingredients are mixed in well transfer the batter into the baking pan. Sprinkle the walnuts on the top and bake for 50 Minutes.
